Family pictures

I know it has been a long time since I posted, we have been sooo busy I haven't had the time to blog. Everyone is doing great, the boys are getting really big and grown up! I am amazed at how fast time goes by. Connor has been walking since his first birthday and has now turned into a climber. Mother says I am getting my payback! He climbs onto everything he can and even tries the things he can't!! Mykul is really getting sweet, he calls me mom now and likes to love on us by giving us hugs and kisses. These are the pictures Aunt Krista took of us for our family pictures. Enjoy!

9 Months Already!

I really can't believe it, but Connor is 9 months old. HE is still pretty little, he only weighs 19 pounds! He has learned so many new things, he can now crawl and pull up on just about anything, eating big boy foods with little pieces mixed in, and he is learning how to hold his bottle. It is amazing how much they grow everyday and how much more you love them each day! Enjoy some of our most recent pictures!

Christmas Time!

Well, it has been forever since I posted anything and it is now Christmas! We are ready for Santa to come and visit our house! Connor is 8 months old and now crawling. He gets around pretty good and wants to keep up with Mykul. Connor has a little personality and already knows what he does and doesn't want. If you try to give him a bottle and he doesn't want it he clinches his mouth shut! Mykul is getting so big! We are still potty training and I am hoping that one day he will decide to use the potty all of the time. He loves to play outside and likes to go to school. He has several friends at school that he talks about all of the time. The school just had a Christmas program and Mykul sang Rudolph and Jingle Bells. Well, he actually just sat there while the other ones sang, but it was his first school program! We were so proud. I will try and update sooner, but we just seem to get so busy I don't have time for anything.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Family Time

It has been so busy around here we have been going crazy! Connor is doing great, he has been sick, but is feeling much better now. We had to take him to the doctor twice, e.r. once, and an after hours clinic all in one month, but luckily he is much better now. He is 27 inches long and weighs 17 pounds. My little guy is getting so big!! He is almost 6 months old already. Connor is sleeping through the night when he is not sick and takes nice naps during the day. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful little man!

Family Vacation

The beginning of August we packed up the family and went to San Antonio. Jay said it was only 4 hours away so I thought it would be the right amount of car time for the boys. I guess we forgot to account for all of the restroom and stretch breaks because it took us 5 and a half hours! Once we got there we went to the River walk and quickly found out that it was HOT. We had a great time as a family and really spending some quality time together. Throughout the fours days we went to the Zoo, rode in a horse drawn carriage, the Children's Museum, a Dallas Cowboys practice, and ate very yummy foods! At the end of our trip we were very tired and ready to get home and sleep in our beds. The kids did great, we tried to keep them on the same schedule and I think that helped. This was a great first family vacation, but next time we will take someone to help us :)

Bedtime at the George's
Every night we read books to Mykul before he goes to sleep and last night we all read them as a family. Connor loved laying in bed listening to daddy read! Mykul however did not like Connor in his bed. I told Mykul that when Connor gets older they can sleep together if they want and he looked at me like I was crazy! He also kept telling daddy to get Connor out of my bed! He was so funny! Connor loved it and Mykul hated it. I guess it is just the beginning of the little brother wanting to do everything his big brother does!
