Christmas Time!

Well, it has been forever since I posted anything and it is now Christmas! We are ready for Santa to come and visit our house! Connor is 8 months old and now crawling. He gets around pretty good and wants to keep up with Mykul. Connor has a little personality and already knows what he does and doesn't want. If you try to give him a bottle and he doesn't want it he clinches his mouth shut! Mykul is getting so big! We are still potty training and I am hoping that one day he will decide to use the potty all of the time. He loves to play outside and likes to go to school. He has several friends at school that he talks about all of the time. The school just had a Christmas program and Mykul sang Rudolph and Jingle Bells. Well, he actually just sat there while the other ones sang, but it was his first school program! We were so proud. I will try and update sooner, but we just seem to get so busy I don't have time for anything.

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Family Time

It has been so busy around here we have been going crazy! Connor is doing great, he has been sick, but is feeling much better now. We had to take him to the doctor twice, e.r. once, and an after hours clinic all in one month, but luckily he is much better now. He is 27 inches long and weighs 17 pounds. My little guy is getting so big!! He is almost 6 months old already. Connor is sleeping through the night when he is not sick and takes nice naps during the day. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful little man!

Family Vacation

The beginning of August we packed up the family and went to San Antonio. Jay said it was only 4 hours away so I thought it would be the right amount of car time for the boys. I guess we forgot to account for all of the restroom and stretch breaks because it took us 5 and a half hours! Once we got there we went to the River walk and quickly found out that it was HOT. We had a great time as a family and really spending some quality time together. Throughout the fours days we went to the Zoo, rode in a horse drawn carriage, the Children's Museum, a Dallas Cowboys practice, and ate very yummy foods! At the end of our trip we were very tired and ready to get home and sleep in our beds. The kids did great, we tried to keep them on the same schedule and I think that helped. This was a great first family vacation, but next time we will take someone to help us :)

Bedtime

Bedtime at the George's
Every night we read books to Mykul before he goes to sleep and last night we all read them as a family. Connor loved laying in bed listening to daddy read! Mykul however did not like Connor in his bed. I told Mykul that when Connor gets older they can sleep together if they want and he looked at me like I was crazy! He also kept telling daddy to get Connor out of my bed! He was so funny! Connor loved it and Mykul hated it. I guess it is just the beginning of the little brother wanting to do everything his big brother does!

Officially A Thumb Sucker!

Officially A Thumb Sucker!
Connor found his thumb about a month ago, but I was hoping he would loose interest in it.
Nope!
He has become a thumb sucker and won't let it leave his mouth when he is awake.
I found him sucking it the other night when I went in to check on him.
I guess it runs in the family, Jay and I both sucked our thumbs!

3 month Professional Pictures

Sorry it has been so long!

Connor is now 3 months old and changing everyday! He has learned that the tv is entertaining and dosen't take his eyes off it! I will have to get out the Baby Einstein DVDs so that he is at least watching something educational. Connor weighs 13.8 lbs and is 25 inches long. His eyes are hazel and his full head of dark hair has almost all fallen out. I hope when it grows back it will be curly like Jays. Enjoy the new pictures!

He's Here!

It has been a while since we blogged and a lot has happened! Connor Evan George is here and doing fabulous! He weighed 6 lbs 3 oz at birth and was 20 inches long. He has a head of dark brown hair and looks like a combination of Jay and I. Connor is growing every day and is the love of my life! I enjoy just holding him and looking at him while he is sleeping. We will try to blog more often and let all of you know how our days are! :)
